Dr. Wendy Eckenrod-Green is a professor, counselor educator, clinical mental health counselor, consultant, and speaker with more than 20 years of experience working across K–12 schools, higher education, clinical counseling, and community mental health settings.

She currently serves as Professor in the School of Teacher Education and Leadership at Radford University and is Past President of the Virginia Counselors Association.

Her professional work focuses on youth mental health, trauma-informed practices, prevention systems, school climate, emotional wellbeing, relationship violence, burnout prevention, communication systems, foster care support, human development, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
